f. The Entertainment industry Foundation (EIF) will hold a community project on Saturday, September 14, at Hillsides Home for Children in Pasadena - one of EIF's beneficiary organizations. Founded in 1913, Hillsides continues to provide children suffering from abuse and mental illness a "safe place" to call home. Entertainment industry members will volunteer their time to beautify the campus by gardening, planting and sprucing up the grounds; painting a basketball court, hopscotch/tether ball areas and a bike path; and assembling picnic tables and chairs. The day will be dedicated to the late David and Lynn Angell - victims of 9-11 who lovingly supported Hillsides Home for Children. David was the producer of "Frasier". We will be celebrating the Angells by carrying on their commitment and legacy of service to Hillsides. EIF will also coordinate a book drive throughout the entertainment industry for Hillside's Lynn Angell Children's Library and their Altadena Family Center's Library.

EIF is proud to be a part of Connect LA's Unity Through Diversity Festival and the national initiative for Americans to volunteer in the memory of those lost on 9-11. EIF will be registering our project with the Points of Light Foundation Unity in the Spirit of America (USA) Initiative website in honor of the Angells.
